"Bike Cleaning"

Well I finally gave Ready's bike cleaning tip a go.

Use a 50/50 mix of Pink Handy Andy & water in a spray bottle and spray your bike with it before washing it off with a hose.

WOW - I don't think I've ever got a bike so clean in one wash before. You could actually see the dirt running off it as you rinsed the Handy Andy off the bike. It managed to clean inside the foot pegs and all the other spots that don't normally come clean with a hand wash.

I still hand washed it after with car wash just to give all the plastics and rims a good wash. I think Ready uses a high pressure cleaner, which would probably finish the clean without having to hand wash.

Thanks for the heads up Steve. This is now how I will wash my bike each time after a ride.

Anyone else got any washing tips or tricks?
